1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Wait7 ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Wait7. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
2. Description of Service
Wait7 is a personal finance tool designed to help you make more intentional purchase decisions by:
- Saving items to a waitlist with a 7-day waiting period
- Analyzing purchase decisions based on need, budget, and other factors
- Tracking purchase outcomes and spending patterns
- Providing insights into your shopping habits

3. Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
You may create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email/password. You may also use the App in "guest mode" without creating an account.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
3.3 Guest Mode
Guest mode data is stored locally on your device and linked to a device identifier. If you lose access to your device without creating an account, you will lose access to your data. We recommend creating an account for data persistence.
3.4 One Account Per Person
Each user may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse features or circumvent limits may result in termination.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 Free and Premium Features
Wait7 offers both free and Premium subscription tiers. Some features are only available to Premium subscribers.
4.2 Subscription Management
Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. All billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled by your App Store account and are subject to Apple's terms:
4.3 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel anytime in your app store account settings.
4.4 Refunds
Refunds are handled by the Apple App Store according to their policies. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.
4.5 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices. Price changes take effect at your next renewal, and you will be notified in advance through the App Store.
5. User Content and Data
5.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you create in Wait7, including notes, rules, and decisions. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content to provide the service.
5.2 Product URLs
When you add a product URL, we extract publicly available information (title, price, image) to display in your waitlist. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access the URLs you provide.
5.3 Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate information when using the App. The quality of our recommendations depends on the accuracy of your inputs.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the App
- Circumvent rate limits or abuse API endpoints
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
- Create multiple accounts to abuse free trial offers
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the App to scrape or harvest data for commercial purposes
Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your account.
7. Intellectual Property
The Wait7 app, including its design, code, branding, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Wait7 and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App without our written permission.
8. Disclaimers
8.1 "As Is" Service
Wait7 is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8.2 No Financial Advice
Wait7 is a decision-support tool, not financial advice. Our verdicts and recommendations are suggestions based on your inputs. We do not guarantee any particular financial outcome, savings, or purchase satisfaction.
8.3 Third-Party Content
Product information extracted from URLs is provided by third-party websites. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of this information.
8.4 Service Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wait7 and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Cost of substitute services
- Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $50, whichever is greater
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wait7 and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
11.1 By You
You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed per our Privacy Policy.
11.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination except in cases of serious violations.
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification.
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@wait7app.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will work in good faith to resolve issues within 30 days.
12.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12.3 Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you via email or in-app notification.
Your continued use of Wait7 after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the App.
14. Miscellaneous
14.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wait7 regarding your use of the App.
14.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
14.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not waive that right or provision.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to any successor or acquirer.
